SweetPearl^TM

A sugar-free excipient with great mouthfeel

SweetPearl^TM is a remarkable polyol powder range, which can be used in particular as sweet but sugar-free filler in pharmaceutical formulations. Chemically, SweetPearl^TM is a dimeric polyol, with a warming mouthfeel similar to traditional saccharose or cane sugar.

SweetPearl^TM powders are also robust and stable excipients with valuable technological properties in terms of flow, particle size, and density, making them handy as straightforward excipients for oral dosage forms.

Roquette’s Application and Research Laboratories have also shown the advantages of SweetPearl^TM as a base for sugar-free hard-pan coating.
