Roquette joined 670 exhibitors during the world’s largest gathering of pharmaceutical scientists at the 2008 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) annual meeting and expo this past November. 7,500+ attendees from around the world assembled on November 17, 18 and 19 to hear about the latest in pharmaceutical science and technology developments, discover innovative products and unique market segments, form professional relationships and enjoy the southern hospitality and cuisine of Atlanta, GA.
AAPS activities included 90 educational sessions along with 3 full days of exhibitor attendance and poster sessions.
Roquette’s booth theme was centered on “enabling technology” as we continue to brand our name as a global solution provider in the pharmaceutical industry. During the expo, Roquette promoted the following products: ReadiLycoat®, LYCOAT'®, LYCATAB®, KLEPTOSE®, PEARLITOL®, and PEARLITOL® Flash by showcasing product samples, informative brochures and highlighted posters.
On Tuesday, November 18th, Roquette hosted a reception at the booth celebrating its 75th anniversary. Wine and cheese along with a collectible 75th anniversary wine goblet were available for attendees to enjoy.
The AAPS expo and 75th anniversary reception was a great success! Both provided Roquette the opportunity to converse face-to-face with experienced individuals in the industry and foster new and existing relationships.
A special congratulation to Ashish Joshi, Pharma/Nutra Team Leader, for participating in the AAPS poster session; Ashish presented on the advantages of film coating with a novel modified starch.
